Mændenes hjem entrence with wooden benches and indoor plants; students study or relax in a bright communal area.
An open, safe drop-in center staffed 24/7. Here, men and women experiencing homelessness, addiction, and severe social vulnerability can find respite, care, and emergency assistance.

Men and women who come to the Contact Point often live with a combination of mental illness, addiction, somatic disorders, past abuse, crime, and long-term marginalization. Many have fallen out of the ordinary system and find it difficult to meet demands for attendance, stability, and cooperation.

Therefore, the Contact Point is a low-threshold service, where you do not have to perform to be met. Here, you are welcome as you are and with everything you carry with you.

Safety and Professional Support

At the Contact Point, a 24-hour and interdisciplinary team of social and healthcare professionals work. We meet men and women with respect, warmth, and professional knowledge, and we help with both acute needs and building bridges to the healthcare system, authorities, and social services, if desired.

Many of those we meet have difficulty with emotional regulation and navigating systems. Therefore, the contact is often the first step towards something bigger: a trusting space where there is access to basic care and support to regain a foothold.
